Never watched any of them. The closest I ever came was watching some of "Dallas" & watching "Soap" (the nighttime parody of daytime soaps). Though I do watch some sitcoms, which are kind of like soaps.

I do hear you though on the "they're never really dead" comment. I still (sadly) remember the garbage on "Dallas" years ago where younger brother Bobby Ewing died/didn't die. For those who don't know, he died at the end of season X, season X+1 was the funeral & his wife/family trying to move on with their lives, at the start of season X+2 we see his wife waking up & we hear someone in the master bathroom shower - she walks in, the person steps out of the shower & we see it's her *DEAD* husband! The storyline explanation - he never died, she just had a bad dream. WTF?!?!?! A BAD DREAM?!?!?!?!?!?!?! (smh)

And a bad dream that involved a whole nother show, right, "Knot's Landing"? That was wild for a prime time show. Standard operation procedure on a daytime soap, though. I remember there was one where a woman died, I don't remember how, but years later it turned out she had in fact fallen off a boat and washed up on an island and lived there for a while and now all of a sudden turned back up. Apparently the island had a good plastic surgeon, because she came back as a different actress.

An island in the middle of nowhere that has quality plastic surgery that can be paid for with whatever you have with you when you unexpectedly fall off a boat but doesn't have any way for you to contact anyone off-island. Now *THAT'S* an imaginative plotline! 😁🤣😜

Been a fan of General Hospital since I used to watch it with my grandma!

They just keep keeping on, don't they! I watched it in the infamous Luke and Laura years, and remember ... Richard Dean Anderson as a doctor on the good/stupid side of the line, I think.
